Shop Data Systems Location: Germany Position: Independent Sales representative, or Software Distributor Description: The representative would be responsible for the sales, training and first line support of the company’s product lines. The candidate would seek out end users and/or machine tool manufacturers who in turn would sell Shop Data Systems’ with their product. In addition the candidate would support the company’s current channels of distribution with product demonstration, technical assistance and post sale would conduct the training on the use of the product. A major product of the company supports the general fabricator that is engaged in metal cutting utilizing plasma, water jet, laser or a combination of technologies. The user can utilize the company’s design product or he can export his current CAD to the system which will then nest the part(s) and produce the proper code to drive the machine tool (CAM). Shop Data also supports the HVAC sheet metal fabricator with software that allows the user to input the various components of a duct system, explode them into the flat components, nest them and produce the NC code to drive the cutting system. Shop Data will also have a CAD product that will layout the various duct line and provide a seamless down load to the cutting process. Qualifications Five+ years of CAD/CAM experience in metal fabrication industry. Must be highly proficient with software application and have strong problem solving skill Extensive experience selling and servicing the metal fabrication Market Be an effective communicator with good teaching skills. Ability to communicate technical information to non technical personnel Be fluent in English and German. Any additional languages would be a plus.
