T. H. Bender & Partners is a successful boutique executive search company which serves North American, European and Asian high tech companies to recruit executives to run operations in North America.
We have an opening (full time or part time) for a dynamic yet thorough recruiter. He/she will work closely with the engagement manager and a team of researchers to identify, screen and attract outstanding candidates.
Job Summary
This position is responsible for the name generation (in cooperation with research) and candidate development for executive searches in the alternative energy, high tech and capital equipment industries.
Responsibilities - Independently research technologies and industries, identify the main drivers shaping an industry, determine which companies, events and individuals are paramount to the success of companies within the industry. Develop comprehensive search strategies
- Understand organisation structures and assess which positions might be a good match with the requirements of our clients
- Identify prospects, reach out to them (cold calling) and quickly develop a rapport. Pre-screen individuals and develop prospects into candidates.
- Work closely with the engagement manager to determine candidates’ fit with the position and the corporate culture of a client
- Support the engagement manager through all steps leading to a successful placement
Education/Certifications
- A graduate degree (i.e. MBA) from a leading academic institution is required
Professional and Personal Qualifications
- Strong aptitude towards complex technical products and services is absolutely required
- Very strong computer and database skills are a must
- Excellent writing and verbal skills are required
- Excellent research skills, ability to work independent with a minimum amount of supervision
- Results oriented and tenacious
- Detail oriented. German language skills required
- A minimum of three years recruiting experience is strongly preferred. However, we are willing to consider outstanding candidates with experience selling complex products or services
