Description: |
The Vice President of Operations will develop and manage the required end-to-end product operations and supply chain capabilities in order to drive performance in cost, manufacturing, logistics, purchasing and customer service deliverables for this mid-sized, private equity-backed industrial and HVAC products company. The position will work closely with management and supply chain partners to facilitate continuous improvement in all aspects of the Company EMEA manufacturing facilities and distribution centers. Direct reports will include manufacturing plant managers in 3 countries and 12 distribution centers throughout Europe.
Requirements include a strong background in all aspects of operations, manufacturing and supply chain management across a broad base of European countries and customers. Successful candidate will have in-depth experience in material planning and procurement; inventory control and management; production planning; setting production requirements and managing execution; material movement; and service level negotiations. The Vice President of Operations must be results-oriented with a strong performance, cost management and bottom-line orientation which has resulted in rationalizing the operations leading to growth in revenue and profitability. Must be fluent in English and a strong preference for German as a primary or fluent language. MUST CURRENTLY RESIDE IN EUROPE.
