Description: |
Engineering position focused at the development of LED retrofit products for both the industrial and consumer market. The development activities include product design, engineering analysis, and test qualification. Focus of this effort is to successfully deliver the performance, quality, and cost targets established by the project team.
This technical leadership position will be responsible for development activities ensuring new product desgins and development targets including product performance, quality and cost.
This position will initially be co-located at Osram LS in Regensburg, Germany for a period of up to one year. After the one year period, the position will be located in Danvers, MA (Cherry Hill development center)and continued to be focused on products.
The successfull candidate will be given the opportunity to grow professionally in this high growth business envrionment.
Minimum Education requirement: BS Electrical Engineering or Physics --advanced degree preferred.
Demonstrated technical competence in the development of LED systems required, with a minimum of 10 years related experience. Successful candidate must be flexible to be initially located in Regensburg, Germany and then transferring to Danvers, MA. Relocation provided.
Position requires the ability to work effectively in a global team setting comprised of individuals from NAFTA, EU, and APAC regions. Strong technical, interpersonal, and communication skills are required. Ability to speak German a plus, but not required.
