The GERMANY-USA Career Center was founded in 1997 in Silicon Valley, as a modern, reliable and competitively priced tool to facilitate human resources development for companies that operate both in the U.S. and in Germany. It became one of the first successful niche-oriented recruiting sources on the Internet.

Now based near Boston, Massachusetts, and in the San Francisco Bay Area, the GERMANY-USA Career Center serves many well known small, medium-sized and "Fortune 500" companies with operations in the U.S., Canada, Germany, Austria and Switzerland.

Management

Managing Partner Gerd Meissner has assisted many leading American and German companies with their management and executive search in our market niche for more than a decade.

Mr. Meissner has served, and continues to serve, as a member of the leadership team of several trade associations, as a Board Director of the Chamber of Commerce, and on community service organizations. He is a Past-President of the University Rotary Club of Palo Alto, CA (Stanford), a Past-President of the Falmouth Rotary Club (Cape Cod, MA), and a member of the Rotary Club of Alameda, CA.

Since 2009, he serves as Chairman of San Francisco Bay Area Chapter of the Heidelberg Club International (HCI), which connects members from the senior ranks of a number of disciplines worldwide in a spirit of international cooperation and friendship.

A former journalist who immigrated to the U.S. from Germany, his byline has appeared in the New York Times, among many other renown national and international publications. He is also the critically acclaimed book author of "SAP - Inside the Secret Software Power" (McGraw-Hill Publishers).
