Orlando, USA (05/04/2010). Dave Wojciechowski
, Director of Sales at SMA America, predicts that a new system which was recently installed in Orlando, FL utilizing four SMA Sunny Boy 7000US solar inverters "will yield not only clean power, but learning opportunities for multiple generations”. It's a fair forecast, given the location: the inverters are part of a 31-kilowatt solar electric system designed by Azul Solar USA, the North American affiliate of Germany-based Azur Solar GmbH, for the roof of the world-famous Orlando Science Center. In addition to the roof-mounted system, an interactive Solar Educational Exhibit will be built inside the Science Center. It will provide real-time and historical performance data and enable visitors to see the amount of energy that the system has produced, as well as the environmental savings. A visual display of the system components will contain explanations of evolving solar technologies.
