, CEO/CTO of Gehrlicher Solar AG, is the face behind an award-winning solution for transporting and mounting large-area photovoltaic modules. Such modules pose a big challenge for logistics, transportation and mounting. Gehrlicher Solar AG, which is based in Neustadt and Dornbach, Germany, has developed a system which guarantees the smooth transportation of up to 18 large modules, and a unique rail system (backrail solution) that facilitates installation. The company was now awarded an Intersolar Award at Intersolar Europe 2010.
